Get Yourself Out

Gen 12:1 Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee:

I love the chapters about Abraham. He is the patriarch who is accepted by Jews, Christians and Muslims. The three biggest or main religions in the world.

We see in Abraham, God’s calling, the way He calls people. God divides, elects, and separate. He did with Abraham, Moses, Joseph etc.

Abraham was elected by God to be the ‘Father of multitudes.’

Abraham’s calling brought division between him and his idol worshipping family.

Abraham was separated by YHWH for a higher purpose. He had to go through 10 trials.

His calling was not easy. Are you ready to heed the call of God on your life.

2 Co 10:17 But “let him who boasts boast in the Lord.”
2 Co 10:18 For it Is not the one who commends himself who is approved, but the one whom the Lord commends.

The called will be separated to God, will be broken down, not in a bad way, but God will prune us, cut away everything which is not from Him, for He must trust you with souls!

Thus, not the ones that boast about their achievements are called, but the broken down ones, the ones separated.
