Because of Abraham

Genesis 26:4-5 I will make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky, I will give all these lands to your descendants, and by your descendants all the nations of the earth will bless themselves. All this is because Abraham heeded what I said and did what I told him to do—he followed my mitzvot, my regulations and my teachings.

We do not read a lot about Isaac, but we do about Abraham. He is mentioned a lot in the new testament.

Gal 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
Gal 3:29 And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Some people work and seek after blessings, while the Scripture declares that we should be obedient like Abraham and then the blessings will follow.

Mat 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Let us be like Abraham who was quick to hear and obey.
