Genesis.
Ark of God
By Venessa Holtzhausen
Gen 6:13 And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.
Gen 6:14 Make thee an ark of gopher wood; rooms shalt thou make in the ark, and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch.
The ark God is talking about here in the Scriptures is called a תבהּ which is pronounced tevah. You find this word only for the ark of Noah and the basket vessel in which the baby Moses was placed in. The deeper meaning of tevah is a vessel steered without oars. Thus, it was a vessel of safety under the supreme protection and use of God YHWH. We also note that YHWH gave specific commandments of how it should be build. Specific dimensions. It also had three floors. Now, we interpret Scripture according to what is written in plain sight and also what is the hidden meaning.
This ark, steered by God, build according to God’s instructions, consisting of three floors and only the chosen animals and human beings had the right to enter in, is a representation of the Tabernacle, which is a representation of Christ and the future Tabernacle. The Tabernacle was build on God’s instructions, with specific dimensions, consisted out of three parts, and only the chosen tribe had the privilege to enter and serve according to God’s instructions.
But this ark was a place of safety! Yeshua, our Jesus Christ is the place of safety for God’s children and He is the representation of the Tabernacle!!
Only those who came to the Father through Jesus Christ will be accepted into His Kingdom. There will be selection. Those outside the ark perished. Those outside the ark Yeshua, Jesus Christ will once again perish, like in the days of Noah.
God chose who could enter into the ark. He will once again choose who will be safe in Yeshua, Jesus Christ when He destroys this earth and all those outside the ark.
There is no hope outside the ark, no place of safety. While everybody carried on their day to day tasks, not worrying about the warnings of Noah, they took nothing serious what he said, they perished. The destruction came quickly upon them. Today it is the same. People do not heed the warning signs from God, carry on with their day to day tasks, not worrying about the coming wrath and a sudden destruction will come upon them, and then it will be too late to say: ‘please let me in’.
Can you imagine how many people begged Noah to get in, but he could not hear them and neither could he open the door.
While they were busy with their day to day tasks, Noah was busy getting ready. His mind was on the matters of God YHWH. While this world is busy with the here and now, the children of YaHWeH is busy getting ready to meet their Bridegroom.
Make sure you are in the safety of the Ark, Yeshua, Jesus Christ.
Luk 17:26 And as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.
Luk 17:27 They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came
and destroyed them all.
Heb 11:7 By faith Noah, having received revelation of things not seen as yet, with great care prepared an ark to the saving of his house, by which
he condemned the world and was made heir of the righteousness which is by faith.
1 Pe 3:20 which in the time past were disobedient, when once the patience of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was being made ready, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.
2 Pe 2:5 and if he did not forgive the old world, but kept Noah, a preacher of righteousness, with seven other persons, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;
2 Pe 2:9 The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished.
